Work description
This tender is for the provision of Home Support and/or Community Based Support for Service Users within twoLOTs. The following is an overview of the two LOTs: Lot 1: Service User Group One Adults with support needs aged 18 and over, whose primary need includes: ? Some degree of physical disability ? and / or organic mental health issues (including dementia), ? and / or sensory impairment, ? and / or acquired brain injury ? A maximum of 25 Framework Providers. ? Work is divided between three zones. ? Up to two Main Providers within each zone, making a total of six. ? Each Main Providers will act as the Main Provider on alternate weeks for the acceptance of new referrals. Lot 2: Service User Group Two Adults with support needs 18 and over, whose primary need includes : ? A functional mental illness, ? and/or learning disabilities ? and/or autism, ? and / or Asperger?s syndrome. ? A maximum of 10 Framework Providers. ? One borough-wide zone. ? Up to two Main Providers operating borough wide. ? Each Main Provider will act as the Main Provider on alternate weeks for the acceptance of new referrals.
Additional information: The Authority reserves the right not to Award any Contract as a result of the Procurement process initiated by this notice and will not be liable for any costs incurred by candidates. Interested parties must log on the Chest way of expression of Interest. The Authority is using the e-business portal known as The Chest. Applicants will need to register their details at the following link: https://www.the-chest.org.uk. Once registered, Applicants will be emailed a username and password which will allow applicants to gain access to the Invitation to Tender. Applicants will need to electronically submit the completed questionnaire and accompanying documentation via the on-line portal by 4:00pm on Thursday 21 April 2016. The framework period will be for 4 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years.
