Air, Ferry, International Rail Booking Services

The BBC is acting on its own and on behalf of its commercial subsidiaries within BBC Commercial Holdings Ltd, including BBC Studios, to conduct a competitive procurement with the intention of appointing 1 service provider for the provision of - air, ferry, international rail booking services.

The service provider will manage the end-to-end process of sourcing, booking and managing the BBC's spend for air, ferry and international rail travel - as outlined within the tender documents.

The value of the contract covers the maximum total spend over the contracts term, including extensions - incorporating fares, fees to the service provider, in addition to the cost of bookings made by BBC Commercial Holdings Ltd. It is not indicative of what the appointed service provider will be remunerated for their services or what the BBC is committed to spend for air, ferry and international rail travel under the contract.

The value of spend for the contract, is expected to range between GBP 65 750 000 and GBP 92 050 000.

The initial term which may be extended at the option of the BBC, in increments of any length of time on any number of occasions except that the cumulative maximum duration of any extension period(s) beyond the end of the initial term pursuant to this shall not exceed 2 calendar years in total.
