Work description

Mace Dragados require a site and materials tester to carry out test and inspection of a comprehensive range of materials as instructed by the Contractor.

Test results and inspection observations will be documented and provided to the Contractor.

The works could include, but are not limited to:

- CBR - Incremental Platers - In-Situ Density - Pull out Load Testing - Dynamic Cone Penetrometer - Laboratory Testing - Flow Test - Slump Test - Cube Test

The Supplier must have similar experience of Site & Materials testing applications in regards to:

- Large scale construction projects over a long duration. - Site & materials testing in London Underground and Network rail operational environments.

It is essential that the supplier has UKAS accreditation.

If successful selected suppliers will be required to go through Mace Dragados pre-qualification process to be included on the final tender list. Mace Dragados have been appointed as the Construction Partner to build a fully-integrated HS2 station at London Euston, together with links to the existing London Underground station.

HS2 Phase One includes construction of a new railway line run from London Euston to new stations at Old Oak Common in West London, an Interchange Station near Birmingham Airport and the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) and a terminus station in Birmingham City Centre (Curzon Street).
