Lewisham's Whole systems Approach to Obesity Action Plan has the overarching aim to promote an environment that supports healthy weight and wellbeing as the norm, making healthier options the easiest choice for our residents to eat well and be active. Lewisham Public Health Commission services to support with some elements of the Whole Systems Approach to Obesity. Currently the Council commissions the Be Inspired Programme from GCDA which provides Cookery Clubs and Healthy Walks for individuals, Training and community development support to organisations, and the Healthier Catering Commitment to support improve environmental factors which impact on Obesity.
