Work description

Are you interested in supplying the waste management service to DVLA in Swansea?

Here at DVLA, we are changing the way we source our waste management service. To prepare for this we are hosting an online event on 6th December 2021, for prospective suppliers, and we'd love you to join us to help shape the future of our services.

On the day, we'll be sharing our high-level requirements with you and hoping to learn from you about what the market can offer. We know that privacy is important in a competitive market, so you will also have an opportunity to book 1-2-1 sessions with DVLA.

Our future needs are likely to include:

I. A waste collection service for all types of waste such as -

 on-site management of waste including the secure collection, handling and disposal of all sensitive/confidential waste, inclusive of cleaning of receptacles

 provide waste collection services for all types of waste across the DVLA estate

II. Ad hoc waste management including specialist streams that could require off site management

III. Being pro-active with innovative ideas to promote circular economy initiatives.

If you would like to attend this free event via Microsoft Teams from 9.30am - 11.00am, please reply to this invitation, FMFutures@dvla.gov.uk giving the name/s of the representative/s attending (no more than 2) and your company/business name (registration closes on 29th November).

Following the event, the presentation will be circulated together with the Q&As to attendees.

For any further information send an e-mail to FMFutures@dvla.gov.uk and one of the Facilities Management Futures team will get back to you.

We look forward to hearing from you.
