## Description

The Avaya Managed Service contract was tendered in 2021, as a Further Competition under Crown Commercial Service's framework Network Services 2\. The tendered contract allowed for a 2 year extension and included an allowance for a major upgrade during the term, as technology develops\. The MCA has taken forward the extension option so that the contract now expires 30 September 2024\. MCA is also upgrading the on premise solution to a cloud solution, so is modifying the contract under PCR 2015 Regulation 72\.
