Work description
Basildon Council requires a contractor to either provide an open topped container suitable for public use, or subject to operational proximity to Barleylands Depot, to allow for direct delivery using containers provided by Basildon Council, for the collection/deliver of mixed household wood to be accepted for recycling. It is expected that all wood that is collected has the waste management hierarchy applied to this, with recycling the preferred method. Should the material not be suitable for recycling then it may be process other methods (such as Biomass).
