Work description

The London Borough of Hounslow Climate Emergency and Environmental Strategy team is looking to procure replacement reference-grade air quality monitoring equipment for six sites in the borough-wide automatic monitoring network. The Climate Emergency and Environmental Strategy Team is responsible for delivery and reporting of the council's Air Quality Action Plan and associated Climate Emergency Action Plan. Reliable, high quality monitoring data is key to our ambitions. Equipment shall include four nitrogen oxide (NOx) monitors and six particulate matter (PM2.5 & PM10) monitors.

The successful bidder will provide equipment, fittings & installation, removal and appropriate recycling or disposal of the replaced equipment, including recouping costs through the sale of equipment where economical.

The equipment supplied should be fit for the purpose of reference site monitoring and reporting to Hounslow and Defra. Monitoring of pollutants should meet current UK/EU directives and standards for continuous ambient air quality monitoring including MCERTS accreditation.
