## Description

To liaise with Exeter City Council and Exeter Crematorium with the handling of Section 46 cases, chiefly the transportation and storage of the body while arrangements for the funeral are made and delivering it with suitable respect and formality to the Crematorium for it's disposal\. Additional information: We are looking to arrange a contract for the handling of Exeter City Council's Section 46 bereavement cases for the forthcoming 5 years\. Initially this will be a one year contract with provision to extend year on year for up to a further 4 years based on satisfactory performance etc\.\. The holders of the contract will be required to deal with the transportation, storage and arrangement of the deceased with the upmost professionalism and respect at all times\. They will also need to liaise closely with both Exeter City Council Bereavement Services and the Exeter Crematorium\. We require that any successful contractor is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors and adheres to the standards and practises that they require to be a member\. Please provide evidence of this with your RFQ submission\.
