ESPH428 SB Economic Study (ESPH428 LM)

Wealden District Council (WDC) and Eastbourne Borough Council (EBC) are seeking to commission a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to undertake a full Economic Study for the two administrative areas. The purpose of this assessment is to provide a robust evidence base to support both WDC and EBC for their new Local Plans and specifically their economic development requirements and policies. In addition, the Councils are also seeking to develop economic strategies for their respective administrative areas that will likely consider issues such as attracting inward investment, improving the skills of the existing workforce, infrastructure constraints and opportunities, specialisations in particular employment sectors and so forth. It is anticipated that the contract will commence w/c 26 April 2021. Full details are included in the document set.
