HEMSWORTH OLDER PERSONS INDEPENDENT LIVING (OPIL)

The project entitled Hemsworth OPIL is to be constructed on the site of the former Hemsworth School on the corner of Blackstock Road and Constable Road in Sheffield. The project consists of high-quality independent living accommodation incorporating 1 and 2 bed apartments along with communal areas and support areas for staff. The proposed development is separated into 2 "blocks" joined by a bridge at the first floor level. The Gross Internal Area is 9,396m² over four floors (ground to third floor) with Block 1 being 5,344m² and Block 2 being 4,052m². External car parking and landscaping will also feature with vehicular access from constable road.
