The Work: Comprise new hard and soft landscaping in the vicinity of a Grade II\* Listed Monument, including new public toilet building, paving, planting and bespoke site features and furniture\. Form of Tendering: Selective tender based on bills of quantity, specification and drawings\. 6 tenderers invited\. 4 week tender period\. Tenderers selected based on advice from MeiLoci Landscape Architects \(Truro\) based on recent relevant experience with the companies involved\. Tender invitation date: 21st March 2016\. No\. of tenders received: 4 1 tenderer withdrew and 1 submitted after the deadline of 5pm on Monday 18th April 2016\. Range of tender prices was £17,219\.45 \(6%\) Tender Selection: The tender was awarded on the basis of price \(80%\) and quality \(20%\)\. Assessment of the quality questions was carried out independently by the 3 members of the assessment panel which was comprised of the Councils Project Manager and appointed professionals
