## Description

Maidstone Borough Council \(MBC\) is proposing to flush the Low Temperature Hot Water \(LTHW\) system serving Maidstone House and Link including the replacement of the flexible hoses and drain taps to each FCU\. Issues have been identified on the heating system serving the offices in Maidstone House and Link which have reduced temperatures in certain areas, leading to complaints from staff that the offices are cold\. A contractor has sampled the water to the heating circuit and inspected some of the hoses on the FCUs and found that the system requires flushing to remove debris from the system\.
