Description
JNCC is providing technical assistance to the Overseas Territory of Montserrat. This project aims to support the Government of Montserrat to; • Explore the impacts of different future scenarios of land use and environmental management in Montserrat on marine habitats and improve understanding of the natural capital linkages and potential 'trade-offs'/synergies to support decision making. This project aims to build on previous projects and experience gained elsewhere in the Caribbean and South Atlantic Territories, to provide Montserrat with a tool to support terrestrial spatial planning and nature conservation gains, to gain a better understanding of natural capital linkages and inform better decision making around land-use management.
