Access Rights Options for SQE and REMA Work

Description

Ofgem is working alongside the Government in Phase 2 of Review of Electricity Market Arrangements (REMA) programme. As part of Ofgem's remit, Ofgem is developing policy options regarding access rights and charging. Those proposed policy options/reforms will feed into broader packages of national market and zonal market reforms. Support from a supplier is required to: * Test and expand Ofgem's initial thinking regarding some policy options; * Help Ofgem understand how those options interact with an existing and potential future set of market arrangements and policies/potential reforms; and * Assess the access options considering the interactions between different policies based on pre-agreed criteria (REMA criteria).
