Veterinary Inspections for Riding Establishments

Description

This contract is for the Rother & Wealden shared environmental health & licensing service. The Contractor shall provide suitably qualified staff to carry out the functions of veterinary surgeons in completing the required inspections for the licensing of "Hiring of Horses" of riding establishments, as required by The Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018.legislation. Veterinary surgeons must also be registered on the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons "Riding Establishment Inspectorate List". Inspections of establishments are required for new and renewal application for a licence. For multi-year licences an annual inspection is also required.
