Description

The notice relates to the award of a call-off contract for clinical evidence reviewed, awarded following a further-competition via the Health Systems Support Framework Agreement. NHS England has held the direct commissioning responsibility for prescribed specialised services since April 2013. As part of these duties, NHS England is responsible for programme management of the development, testing and adoption of a range of clinical commissioning policies and service specifications. These set out the nationally consistent commissioning position for specific treatments, technologies and services to ensure equal access for defined groups of patients, for which NHS England has legislative responsibility. The programme of clinical evidence reviews, which are based on treatment topics, are agreed on an annual basis (ongoing) with the flexibility to add new topics should they be considered clinically necessary through horizon scanning systems. the contract is a call-off contract. The contract rates are as follows: An evidence review wherein a complex search is required - £15,815.00. An evidence review wherein the literature search undertaken identifies > 20 studies - £15,987.50. An evidence review wherein a complex search is required and the search identifies > 20 studies - £15,955.00.
