## Description

ORE Catapult intends to expand its cable testing capabilities by asking a contractor to provide a detailed design for a dynamic cable compression test rig that is capable of simulating in-service dynamic loads for floating offshore wind \(FOW\) applications\. Fundamentally, the rig design is expected to comprise of: • A steel frame\. • End terminations\. • Bending Actuators\. • Horizontal tension/compression Actuator\. • The cable specimen \(during testing\)\. • Ancillary mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control system
