GB-Benfleet: CP1819-20 Testing and Inspection of Electrical Installations

Description

This Contract covers the inspection and testing of all electrical installations, belonging to Castle Point Borough Council. The Contract will be managed by South Essex Homes. (South Essex Homes is an Arms Length Management Organisation owned by Southend Borough Council). The electrical testing shall be carried out in accordance with IEE Wiring Regulations Seventeenth Edition BS 7671:2008 Requirements for Electrical Installations including amendments 1, 2 and 3 plus any amendments or Editions that may be added between June 1st 2018 & March 31st 2020. IEE Guidance Note 3, Inspection & Testing shall be used for verification of testing procedures. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
