Technical advice to Highway structures and VRS group Technical advice, approval of departures from standards and specifications, developing new standards, revising existing standards, specifications and external stakeholder liaison with organisations including BSI/CEN, academia, trade organisations, specialist information/ technology networks and groups, other bridge owners, Consultants and consultants Advice on structural components, concrete, steel and other materials\. This will include design, construction and maintenance of new and existing structures\. Aircraft loading on National Highways structures Technical support to assist in considering the aircraft loading effects on the M25 tunnel\(s\)/underbridge\(s\) which will be constructed because of Heathrow's consideration for a runway extension\.
