Bilingual general and legal advice

Provision of bilingual (English and Cantonese) general and legal advice being part of the Hong Kong BNO Welcome Programme in Yorkshire and Humber. The service will provide access to information and advice to Hongkongers coming to Yorkshire and Humber via the BNO visa route. In order to cover the region, the service would be predominantly delivered remotely and by telephone (with facility for video-call, email, text etc.). The person delivering the service would be bi-lingual (English-Cantonese) Support could include: • Advice and information about the scheme and rights of BNO visa holders and their families • Legal advice related to the BNO visa route • Advice and support with proving right to work and ensuring worker's rights • Resolving difficulties with renting properties • Help and advice with accessing education for children • Information and help to access health services • Information on the tax system in the UK • Applications for NRPF conditions to be lifted • General information and help with understanding services in the UK
