## Description

The Council of the Borough of Kirklees is seeking to establish a programme for the delivery of tutor-led, non-accredited, community-based numeracy/mathematics courses\. The Bitesize model offers funding of up to £10,000, with delivery expected over a two-year period, providing flexibility and sustainability\. We expect courses to be a minimum of 15 guided learning hours \(GLH\), though longer courses are welcome\. All pilot activity should have numeracy embedded-either as a core focus or integrated into the wider learning outcomes-to support the development of essential maths skills in real-life contexts\. This procurement exercise for Count Me In \(the "Services"\) is being conducted as a General Further Competition \("Further Competition"\) under the Electronic Market Place \(EMP\) Ref: KMCAS-164; Provision of Adult Education, Training, Employment & Lifelong Learning \(the "EMP"\)\. The estimated value of the Services to be awarded is £310,000 for the duration of the contract 1st September 2025 to 31st May 2027 \(2 x Academic years\)\. The anticipated commencement date for the Call-off Contract\(s\) is 1st September 2025\.
