Evaluation of the Advanced Practitioner Programme

The overall aim of the programme is to carry out an independent evaluation of the collaborative projects, PLD course and community of practice and measure the extent to which the programme has met its intended outcomes. It should compare the strands of the programme to establish whether any particular strand was more successful than others in meeting the intended outcomes (taking into account that some individuals participated in the collaborative projects and PLD whilst others will have only taken part in one). As the resource toolkit is available to all participants in the programme, the evaluation should consider to what extent this contributed to meeting the outcomes alongside the other inputs provided to participants in the individual strands. The one-day conference is not in scope for this evaluation because it serves as a dissemination and celebration event, although the appointed evaluator may wish to attend this event if they feel it will provide valuable information.
