Ivybridge Boiler Works

The London Borough of Hounslow wish to the contractors to carry out the complete design, manufacture, fabrication, supply, delivery to site, off-loading, storage, installation, connecting up, testing and setting to work all mechanical engineering services installations, either installed by them or a sub-contractor/supplier in the scheme.

The works are to provide all necessary activities as detailed below to form a complete and working installation in accordance with the requirements of this Performance Specification, Building Regulations, Building Control, Local Fire Prevention Officer, Good Engineering Practice plus all applicable standards and Code of Practices to the complete satisfaction of the Employer and Contract Administrator.

Supply, design, installation, testing and commissioning of all mechanical systems itemised in this specification.

Preparation and presentation of all design calculations in accordance with the requirements of the specification. As such all calculations shall be carried out using proprietary computer based software such as Hevacomp, IES or similar with the electronic calculation file(s) issued along with the results to allow the input data to be assessed.

Commissioning of all systems in accordance with good engineering practice, relevant British Standards, CIBSE Commissioning Guidelines and Approved Codes of Practice.
