New Deal for Young People - Virtual Mentoring Academy

This invitation to tender relates to Delivery Priority 1 - Development of a Mentoring Academy Platform. Work is underway to further develop delivery priority 2 and 3. · This procurement has been divided into two contracts; o Contract 1 : Delivery of volunteer mentor training and support o Contract 2: Delivery of a digital platform o Organisations may bid for both contracts through partnership, consortia or subcontracting models. · A budget (across 2 years) of up to £260,000 is available for Contract 1 and a budget of up to £140,000 is available for Contract 2 (across 2 years) 400,000 in total across both Contracts) · A high degree of flexibility and agility will be required to respond and adapt to the local needs identified through the wider pilot. · City Hall is working with several high-quality mentoring providers that will provide further specialist mentor training and ultimate placement/matching of mentors with young people. · Contract is expected to be awarded by December 2023 and the platform, a draft training programme and volunteer support package must be ready for initial review by Jan 24 · The contract will run from award for two years. · We encourage bids from partnerships or consortia. · The providers of contracts 1 and 2 must work together to achieve joint milestones. A signed partnership agreement will be required.
