Description
As a Waste Disposal Authority (WDA), Devon County Council is responsible for the disposal of municipal waste and is actively seeking new ways of reducing the amount of waste produced by Devon residents. This tendering process will appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to deliver community engagement work in agreed areas of Devon and identify new ways of working to reduce waste, increase levels of reuse, recycling and composting by the targeted communities. Furthermore the work will seek to encourage and support the community/ies to actively set up and run their own community engagement activities to reduce waste in their community. Additional information: The tendering period for this contract has expired. This is a contract award notice. The Service entails delivering the project in a community or a number of communities in Devon.
