Space and the microgravity environment offers possibilities to manufacture materials and compounds which are either very difficult or, in some cases, impossible to do on Earth\. The technology to conduct both these activities is now being developed at pace and In-Orbit Servicing & Manufacturing \(IOSM\) is an emerging domain within the space sector\.
