## Description

The works aim is to introduce a system of Sustainable Drainage to the external school environment with the following benefits: - Storing run-off with slow release to the sewer system\. - Harvesting & using rainwater close to where it falls\. - The slow transportation of water on the surface\. - Filtering of pollutants\. - Improving biodiversity\. The Contractor will introduce a number of Rain Garden areas\. These will not only manage water storage and flow but increase biodiversity and improve the general aesthetic as well\. The Contractor will supply and install a number of SuDS specific planters, fed from re-directed downpipes and capturing and utilising a proportion of roof run-off\.
