Request for Information - For the supply and distribution of Dry, Chilled, and Frozen Food

Portsmouth City Council (PCC) is in the process of considering our options for the supply and distribution of dry, chilled, and frozen food for Adult Social Care sites.

PCC spends approximately £130,000 per annum for the provision of dry, chilled, and frozen foods where goods are delivered as and when required to Adult Social Care sites.

The purpose of this engagement is to share with you our proposed service specification and ask you to comment on our proposal to put into place a service contract for the purchase of dry, chilled, and frozen food for Adult Social Care sites. We would like you to confirm if you would be interested in this opportunity. Any information a provider shares could be used to inform the final specification for the service.

Providers should note that there is no obligation to take part in this exercise and that if they do not take part, it will not preclude them from any subsequent related procurement process.
