Quotation for the Provision of a Desktop Research Exercise of Private Rented Housing in Sandwell The background to this requirement is the rapid expansion of private rented housing in Sandwell and an ambition to increase regulation of this sector using discretionary powers in the Housing Act 2004, namely Selective Licensing and Additional Licensing. There is no comprehensive database of private sector rented accommodation in Sandwell. It is therefore proposed to commission a desktop research exercise to identify those areas within the borough where there is a preponderance of poor quality private rented housing, particularly houses in multiple occupation.
