Hagley Road Corridor Options Assessment Report

In line with the strategic direction of the Local Transport Plan, Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) is working on developing mass rapid transit solutions as part of an integrated public transport network in the West Midlands. The term Mass Rapid Transit is used as a mode agnostic term covering large capacity, fixed route, timetabled public transport solutions encompassing rail, light rail, bus rapid transit etc.

The options assessment should consider, for each option, the pros / cons and viability in meeting the wider objectives and delivering passengers to key employment, education and leisure sites in the Hagley Road Corridor.
