GB-Watford: Riverwell School Site - Works Enabling Package

Watford Health Campus Partnership (WHCP) seeks to contract for the provision of an enabling works package for the future school site, to make the site ready for the sale to Hertfordshire County Council (HCC). The works consist predominantly of site validation, remediation, obstruction removal and cut and fill to the required development level. The contractor will require expertise in all phases of the work associated with design, construction, remediation, validation, and site preparation. The contract will be design and build. The estimated value of the works is £1.5m Selected vendors will be responsible for the review of site conditions, design of the enabling works, providing value engineering options per the specification requirements and performance standards contained within the remediation specification agreed with the Environment Agency, construction, site preparation and validation of the remediation including discharge of local planning conditions. The selected vendors shall provide construction materials and assemblies according to applicable local codes, regulations and standards and those as predefined or determined by WHCP.
