18-065 Operated and Non-operated Plant Hire

Description

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC) has a need to hire plant and equipment to enable it to undertake its day to day operations. These requirements have been broken down into the following lots: • Operated Plant • Non-operated plant • Tool and Fencing Hire • Site Accommodation • Traffic Lights To ensure availability of plant and equipment and that the highest levels of service are delivered, RMBC is looking to make multiple awards against each lot. When a requirement arises, call-off arrangements will be decided based on the best overall price for each specific requirement. The provider with the best value option will be contacted in the first instance to confirm availability in the time required; if this provider cannot commit to the work the Council will approach the next best value supplier for availability and so on.
