Description
The Department for Transport is looking to set up a contract for provision of specialist technical services via the Transport Technology Forum (TTF) to fulfil a known need for guidance on adaptive traffic signals and other technologies, which will address: - A need for targeted training materials for local authorities on the implementation and optimisation of adaptive traffic signals - The collation of good practice guidance on the optimisation of traffic signalling - Methods to outline the accrued benefits from the good operational maintenance and management of traffic signalling - The awareness of the opportunities afforded by smart technologies to support UK high streets.
