EXPRESSION OF INTEREST ONLY Cefas and the University of Exeter are collaborating on a scientific research project ('Thunnus UK') to provide a baseline understanding of the ecology of Atlantic bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus; ABFT) in waters of the British Isles (Falmouth Bay). An important element of the project is the capture and electronic tagging of ABFT. Cefas are now seeking Expressions of Interest (Stage 1) and additional supporting information from organisations, skippers and vessel owners willing to supply a vessel suitably equipped to carry the scientific tagging team and support tagging operations during 2020.
