Description

This is a contract award notice to communicate that NHS Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board (herein, The Authority) has awarded Provide CIC the provision of Healthier You: Diabetes Prevention Programme for a period of 12 months from the 01st September 2022 - 31st August 2023. The total aggregate contract value is £40,235.00. NHS England first led the procurement process for the provision of this Diabetes Prevention Programme; however, the service provision has now been delegated to The Authority. It should be noted that the funding for this service has been maintained by NHS England. The Healthier You: The NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (NHS DPP) identifies those at high risk of developing type 2 diabetes and refers them onto a behaviour change programme. The NHS DPP is a joint commitment from NHS England, Public Health England and Diabetes UK. Provide CIC has a facilitative role in the delivery of this Diabetes Prevention Programme which includes: project management support, providing timely communications and support to both the public and relevant health teams and wider partners, collation and presentation of performance data, expertise and input in terms of service delivery and complaints. The Authority is publishing this Contract Award Notice in the Contracts Finder in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended by The Public Procurement (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020) for spend above £30,000. The Services in scope of this Contract Award Notice fall within 'social and other specific services' within the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended by The Public Procurement (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020), but the total contract value does not exceed the current threshold of £663,540.
