Provision of replacement Hovercraft

Description

Avon Fire & Rescue have a requirement to replace its current Hovercraft. A hovercraft can be used over any reasonable ground - not only coastal areas, so is suitable for numerous different types of special service calls in the service area. Global climate change is increasing the risk of extreme weather and flooding. The new hovercraft coupled with our crews having mod 2 water skills would enable the deployment of our teams into flood areas to help with stranded communities, transporting people to safety, or moving critical supplies to isolated areas.
