The EIF is a professional services framework which delivers strategic tasks, those supporting multiple business areas and tactical tasks, which support a single business area\. The EIF is focussed on the enabling of innovation rather than the delivery of innovation i\.e\. developing the parameters and mechanisms which will allow the achievement of innovation\.
