SOL - Training to Understand and Respond to Perpetrators of Domestic Abuse 2024

Description

Training for one year to Understand and Respond to Perpetrators of Domestic Abuse, which will allow 100 staff across the Solihull Domestic Abuse Partnership Board to receive tailored and accessible training. The provider will develop and deliver a training package that is specifically relevant to partners across Solihull. The provider will offer and deliver training (as stated in the specification) to allow practitioners to achieve: • An understanding of domestic abuse and how trauma impacts victims and children. • Key signs of domestic abuse • How to identify a perpetrator • How to undertake an assessment and provide a helpful and safe response. • To allow professionals to consider the challenges when working with perpetrators. • An understanding of perpetrator tactics and how to approach this.
