(NU/1695) Water Hygiene Services - Additional

Description

The scope of this contract will be for the Management of Water Hygiene and the Control of Legionella Bacteria in hot and cold water systems throughout the University's estate and will include temperature, microbiological and legionella monitoring by providing the following services: - Potential additional activities over and above current Main Contractors duties: • Additional sites / assets included in monitoring regime • New Risk Assessments over and above initial contract • Clean and disinfection of outlets as required • Clean and disinfection of cold water storage tanks when required • Chlorination of water systems when required • Additional Legionella sampling on an ad-hoc basis • Additional TVC sampling on an ad-hoc basis • Additional potable water sampling on an ad-hoc basis • Additional potable water sampling on an ad-hoc basis • Possible 1 Year of maintenance duties, including 1 year of RA programs and contractual monitoring (if required, this will be in year 4 of the contract term). This tender is a direct award against the NHS Shared Business Services, Soft FM, Asset Compliance and Security Services framework reference: SBS/19/UK/MX/9395 - Lot 2.5.
