## Description

The University of Sheffield is out to tender on behalf of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering for a Cold Hearth Arc Melter\. Scope of Requirement: We seek to Vacuum Arc Melt and cast a variety of reactive or nonreactive metals in a clean, cold crucible process\. Likely materials include titanium alloys, steels, nickel base superalloys, metallic glasses and many more\.
