Oracle licences and support for the NHS BSA This requirement of Oracle Licences and Support will ensure that the NHSBSA has business continuity for critical systems. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the procurement of Oracle Services has been established by Crown Commercial Services (CCS) which NHSBSA are named on. Award of a contract without prior publication of a call for competition in the cases listed below The services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for the following reason: - absence of competition for technical reasons Explanation: Oracle Corporation has sole technical rights to their products, and competition is absent here for technical reasons in any event i.e. a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the procurement of Oracle Services has been established by crown commercial services (CCS) which NHSBSA are named on.
