## Description

The National Physical Laboratory \(NPL\) is the UK's National Measurement Institute and is a world-leading centre of excellence in developing and applying the most accurate measurement standards, science, and technology available\. The National Measurement System \(NMS\) The National Measurement System \(NMS\) provides the UK with an infrastructure of laboratories that deliver world-class measurement science and technology and provide traceable and accurate standards of measurement\. The impacts of the NMS are cross cutting, spanning many sectors of the economy, as well as a range of socioeconomic objectives and societal challenges\. Consequently, the top-level management of the NMS programme is structured around a series of challenge areas, one of which is 'Life Science and Health'\. This RFQ seeks a scoping study aimed at strengthening the impact evidence that Life Science and Health \(LSH\) could use during government spending reviews and in the submission of business cases\.
