Work description
Multi-disciplinary services to the Bloomsbury Heat & Power Consortium II Project. The Project involves a major upgrade and extension of the district heating and private wire HV network serving the University of London Bloomsbury Campus. The primary aim of the work is to upgrade, enhance and extend the existing district heating system so that it delivers heat and power to the Consortium's buildings which is amongst other things: • reliable and secure • cost effective/value for money • deliverable • low carbon/no carbon • futureproofed and flexible • energy efficient • has minimal impact on the environment Main Services:
Project Management Building Services Engineer (including Energy Advice) Cost and Commercial Consultant Structural Engineer Architect (minimal scope - project is mainly services) Lead Designer Principal Designer Contract Administrator BIM Information Manager (to level 3) BIM Coordinator (to level 3)
Specialist adhoc services:
Acoustic Consultant Asbestos Surveyor Building Regulations and Fire Engineering Building Surveyor Geotechnical Consultant Heritage Consultant/Conservation Architect Environmental Services/Sustainability Advisor (Note: Energy advice is covered within the lump sum pricing under the Building Services Engineer) Town Planning Consultant (specialist only - note: general town planning is covered in Lead Designer's role)
