Description
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) are looking to procurement a number of water rescue reach poles with associated accessories to comply with the National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) recommends that all rescues of a submerged casualty should be taken from the land, the surface of the water or by personnel in the water and that rescuers should maintain the correct levels of PPE. Operational discretion should not be used to remove PPE, enter confined spaces underwater, or act outside of service policy to go underwater. NFRS are going to tender to a award a contract to a suitable contract to provide the equipment as detailed within this documentation to ensure the NFRS appliances and speicalist recuse units are appropriately equipped.
