The request is to fund additional support for litigation legal services sourced through a Government Legal Department \("GLD"\) approved GLAS panel firm, DLA Piper UK LLP\. External law firms are used to deliver expertise and highly flexible legal resource that can either not be provided by Test & Trace Legal or by GLD, or which cannot be provided cost effectively\.
