11+ Services - Timebanking

The Service will support the development of vibrant and sustainable Communities across Cornwall by encouraging and facilitating involvement in the community using a Time Credit System approach. The Service will work with a range of stakeholders, including but not limited to individuals, communities, local and national organisations to: • Create and manage a Time Credit System that can be used effectively to recognise the positive contributions of Young People in their local communities. This should include a digital means of claiming and redeeming Time Credits. • Create relationships with the Issue Network, who can issue Time Credits and raise awareness of the value of community investment • Create and maintain relationships with the Spend Network to ensure there are sufficient opportunities for Young People to spend their Time Credits • Co-produce events and other activities, which give Young People opportunities to volunteer, contribute to the development and improvement of their Communities and to earn Time Credits • Measure the positive impact of the Service on individual Young People and their local Communities.
