## Description

Capillary electrophoresis system capable of meeting the following requirements: • Laboratory scale, dimensions allow for placement on standard laboratory bench • Ability to perform automated separation of charged biomolecules on size via electrophoresis \(i\.e\. CE-SDS\) • Ability to perform automated separation of proteins based on their pI values \(i\.e\. cIEF\) a\. Produce results in less than 2 hours b\. Run a minimum of 10 samples per separation\. c\. Separation down to 5-10kDa\. d\. Produce quantitative & purity profiles e\. UV & fluorescence detector \(optional\) f\. Run native and reduced electrophoresis • A single device must be able to perform both pI/size separations a\. Be able to switch between the two technologies • Export data • Provide preventative maintenance / servicing
