Phase 1 Habitat and Additional Survey and Production of a Management Plan for Cannock Chase Country Park

The County Council is in the process of preparing an application for a further 10-year Countryside Stewardship Scheme (CSS) to support management of Cannock Chase Country Park. A Management Plan is required to provide a detailed framework and schedule of works in order to maintain / bring the SAC and SSSI features on the site into favourable condition while positively managing other site features. To inform development of this Plan and the subsequent CSS Agreement, habitat survey is required including Phase 1 and additional survey of key vegetation types, including heather age class mapping and grazing impacts assessment
