## Description

Northumberland County Council \(NCC\) are seeking to investigate the opportunity to create a District Heat Network \(DHN\) that utilises heat from mine water\. This is a relatively new technology but is getting a lot of attention as an alternative \(where existing mine structures exist\) to natural gas as a low carbon heating source\.
